The Fire Marshal oversees all activities within the Fire Marshal's Office. Under Georgia Fire Laws, Marietta Fire is a Mandated Fire Marshal's Office. The staff investigates fires and enforces state laws and local ordinances pertaining to fire prevention and safety. In addition to data management and record keeping, the members of the staff also conduct fire safety inspections, plans reviews, public education, and community risk reduction activities.
