Requests for inspection must be entered before 4 PM to receive an inspection the next business day (subject to staffing).  A contractor may request up to five inspections in one day.  When scheduling, please enter an on site contact, contact number and any other helpful information.  An inspector will send a notification through the system of their estimated time to arrival when they are on the way to your job site.  If at any time a scheduled inspection needs to be re-scheduled by Marietta Fire, a representative will contact you.

Inspections will not be performed on city holidays. Please check the City of Marietta Holiday Schedule here to ensure the day you are requesting is not a city holiday.

For Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems - Each contractor is responsible for inspections on his/her system construction permit, which will be unique from the BLDG permit.  Yours will begin with FIRE, please have this number available when discussing your project.
