One of the first steps in the application process for the position of Firefighter/AEMT with the City of Marietta is the written examination. Components of the test may include but are limited to the following:
The City of Marietta Human Resources Department will confirm your selected test date and test session.
Applicants must take the test on his or her selected date and time unless military service prevents you from making your appointed time. We may require you to produce your orders as proof of the conflict. Be advised that applicants are not guaranteed an appointment change.

The Human Resources Department will mail out the final results of the written examination by mail.
