Recruit Emergency Medical Training is offered by our state certified program in-house according to the National EMS Education Standards. The time scheduled to cover the material in EMT then Advanced EMT is approximately 3 months. The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program encompasses a full range of emergency medical services, such as patient assessment, airway management, trauma, and pediatrics. Training is provided in the classroom, in ambulances, and in area hospitals. To gain hands-on experience, Recruits clock clinical hours riding with local ambulance crews, observing and practicing skills in various clinical settings.
To successfully complete the AEMT Program, recruits must pass National Board qualification exams, including written and psychomotor examinations.
