The Marietta Police Department is offering a Citizens Police Academy that begins July 27th. We are currently taking applications for this class.

The Marietta Police Department offers citizens the chance to experience what it's like to be a police officer through its Citizens' Police Academy. The Academy is a 11-week program that meets once a week for 3 hours. Watch a video about the Citizens' Police Academy.

Once a week 6 - 9 p.m.
How to Apply
The Academy is open to the public pending a background check. Applications are available at the front desk of the Marietta Police Department at 240 Lemon Street.
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must live in the city limits or business owner in the city
