Risk Management

 As an integral part of the Human Resources Department, the Risk Management division supports the Mayor, City Council, City Manager, City Departments, and the general public. 

Responsibilities of the Risk Management Division


Worker's Compensation


Manage the City’s self-insurance program, providing wage replacement and medical benefits to City employees injured in the course of employment.

Property & Casualty


Manage the City’s insurance protection against property losses and/or against legal liability that may result from injury or damage to the property of another.

Safety


Manage and facilitate the City’s comprehensive safety and Drug-Free Workplace program (PDF) while identifying and mitigating potential risk.

ADA Compliance


Manage and coordinate the City’s ADA compliance program.
