City of Marietta to Host Santa’s Arrival & Christmas Tree Lighting on December 5th

MARIETTA – The City of Marietta’s Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in conjunction with the arrival of Santa Claus on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Glover Park on the Marietta Square. 

The Christmas Cheer begins at 4:00pm on Thursday, December 5th with performances by local school choruses. Santa makes his grand entrance via a City of Marietta firetruck at 5:20pm followed by the lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree at 6pm. Important information – Santa must leave the Square promptly 8pm that evening to make his way back to the North Pole!
