MARIETTA – During the week of September 25-29th, which coincides with fall break for Marietta City Schools, Marietta Power and Water will do proactive tree trimming along Whitlock Avenue from 9:30am - 3:30pm which will result in lane shifts and a short delay during that time.
We perform routine maintenance like this so when we are hit with inclement weather we are better prepared to restore power to our citizens. It has been 6 years since the last time this was done on Whitlock Avenue. We humbly ask for your patience as our crews work next week and do ask that you kindly remember these are the men and women who got our power back on and running by 6am on Tuesday following the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
