The stream on my property is causing erosion in my yard. How can the City help me?
An inspector will happily come out to investigate the situation, however, most times it will be the responsibility of the homeowner to resolve the issue. The City is only responsible for drainage issues on the public right-of-way, although there is a program in place to help share the cost of issues involving human health and safety. For more information on homeowner's responsibilities, please see Stream Buffers -- Property Owner's Responsibility
