My landlord won’t fix anything. Can you help me?

Yes, but first someone whose name is on the lease must sign an authorization to enter form so the residence can be inspected by a Code Enforcement officer.

If there are residential/housing code violations in the report the landlord will be granted 60 days to make the necessary repairs. If the violation constitutes an immediate health or safety issue a 72 hour compliance order can be issued.

To review the relevant Marietta City Ordinance, view Article 7-4-2, section 100,

International Property Maintenance Code Adopted.
