MARIETTA – The City of Marietta is pleased to celebrate National Historic Preservation Month on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Ivy Grove home located at 473 Cherokee Street, Marietta, Georgia.
The Marietta Historic Preservation Commission continues its annual open house program at one of Marietta’s most notable historic residences, Ivy Grove. The property, owned by Phillip and Elise Goldstein, was originally constructed in 1845. It has gone through a series of renovations and reconstructions but still retains the grandeur of the original home. It is surrounded by an historic landscape including pools and gardens.
