MARIETTA – The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is partnering with the residents of Cobb County and thirteen artists whom attended the Pilchuck Glass School founded by Dale Chihuly in Washington State.
On April 8th The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art will open American Collections: Art for Art’s Sake and For the Love of Glass. The opening will take place on Saturday April 8, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at MCMA and will be Free to Members and $10 for non-members. There will be light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The exhibition runs from April 8, 2017 through June 22, 2017.
“We are ecstatic to bring this body of work to the Marietta Community and think our partnership with the Cobb County Collectors shows our dedication to building community through art,” says museum Director, Sally Macaulay.
