MARIETTA – The Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) is looking for youth ages 12-18 to join their PAL Boxing program. The cost is just $50 per semester, plus $75 for each boxer’s annual membership with USA Boxing.
Applications are being accepted Mondays through Thursdays, now through January 26th from 4-6pm at the Lawrence Street Recreation Center, 510 Lawrence Street, Marietta. Boxing classes are held at the center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm and Saturdays from 9-11am. Don't delay. Space is limited.
Additionally, The Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) is accepting applications for the new Saturday Chess Club, being hosted in partnership with Cobb Young Leaders. The cost is just $50 per semester. Youth ages 10-18 are welcome to join. Applications are being accepted Mondays through Thursdays, now through January 25th from 4-6pm at the Lawrence Street Recreation Center, 510 Lawrence Street, Marietta. The PAL Chess Club will meet at the center on 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10am-12pm. Don't delay. Space is limited.
