MARIETTA - On Wednesday, March 9th, during the regular meeting, Marietta City Council passed two resolutions to urge the state legislature to protect local government land use control during this legislative session.
Council passed a motion to approve a resolution opposing HB844, HB1093 & SB494 which would unconstitutionally limit a City’s authority to make housing, land use and zoning decisions within a local government’s geographical boundaries. To view that motion, please visit this link for page 1 and 2.
