Time to Change your Clocks and Check Your Batteries!

Change Clocks Check Batteries

Daylight Saving Time ends on November 6th, at 2:00a.m., so remember to set your clocks back one hour before going to sleep. You should also test your alarms, and change the replaceable batteries in your smoke alarms, carbon monoxide (CO) detectors and weather radios. Many newer alarms come with a sealed 10-year battery; so just check to make sure it works.  Changing the replaceable batteries every six months ensures that you can be notified if a fire or CO emergency happens in your home. One way to remember this is to check or change the batteries in your smoke/CO alarms with each change of Daylight Saving Time.
