MARIETTA - Explore the Marietta Museum of History for FREE on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 from noon to 4pm. As a part of Super Museum Sunday, historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest throughout Georgia open their doors to the public, providing an exceptional opportunity to experience the history in our own backyard. Over sixty cultural institutions across Georgia participate in this popular annual family event.

The Marietta Museum of History contains the largest collection of artifacts relating to Marietta and Cobb County. Galleries and exhibits cover topics such as military history, home life throughout the decades, and technology from our past. Current exhibits include The Man with the Camera: Photographs by Raymond T. Burford and coming soon, Made by her Hands: The Beauty, Warmth and Stories of Local Quilting.
