From the tree covered hills to the rolling rivers, the themes of our great state are woven into an evening of musical adventures. In partnership with the Georgia Conservancy, Beethoven's Sixth Symphony, the Pastoral, will be accompanied by rich and vivid images of Georgia's natural lands.
Atlanta native and Young Artists Competition winner, Joshua Williams, will perform Vaughan Williams' unique Tuba Concerto. The GSO will also present a world premiere by the Georgia born composer, P. Gustav Westin II.
