MARIETTA - On Friday, March 22nd, 2019, the Marietta Museum of History will continue its popular program, the Remember When Club. The Club explores what life was like in Cobb County when Highway 41 was known as the 4-lane, everyday shopping was done on the Square and life was just a little bit simpler.
The Remember When Club discusses a different topic each session and encourages the audience to participate by sharing their memories as well. March’s theme will be "Women of Kennestone" to coincide with Women's History Month. From candy stripers & the Grey Ladies, to administrators, nurses, and doctors, outstanding women have been the backbone of Kennestone for decades. We will have a panel of women who have worked at Kennestone throughout the years and look forward to hearing their stories, both good and bad! Come prepared to share your own memories and ask questions in our open discussion session.
When: Friday, March 22, 2019 starting at 10:30am
Where: Marietta Museum of History, 1 Depot Street, Marietta, GA 30060
Cost: FREE but donations are greatly appreciated! If you would like to tour the Museum before or after the event, the cost is $5 per person.
