MARIETTA – The Marietta Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce its Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center is now offering strength and cardio fusion group fitness classes.
Each class incorporates multiple fitness techniques including Piloxing, Strength 40/20, and Tabata. Piloxing uniquely belends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Strength 40/20 is an interval strength training class combining traditional strength exercises with function training moves to make you more fit and stronger. Tabata is a comprehensive total body workout that focuses on the lower body, upper body and core thus providing both cardio and strength training.
The classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 10am. Fit Pass holders can purchase an unlimited monthly rate for $36, twice a week for $24, once a week for $12, or $5 per class. Non-member rates are $48 for an unlimited monthly pass, $32 for twice a week, $16 for once a week, and $7 per class.
