MARIETTA - The Marietta Museum of History’s Registrar, Christa McCay, will continue her walking tours through the Marietta City Cemetery this October. The tours provide a chance to learn more about Marietta’s constant residents through different themes. This month’s themes include: Forever Young; Pioneering Marietta; and World War I Veterans
The Marietta City Cemetery has a host of tales to tell and these guided walking tours are the best way to experience them. The tours begin at the brick pavilion between the Confederate and City Cemeteries.
Please note that the World War I tours on October 27th will begin at the white building (looks like a house) in the center of the Cemetery.
Proceeds from the tours benefit the Marietta Museum of History.
When: Saturday, October 6th; Saturday, October 20st; Saturday, October 27th, 2018
Time: Tours are conducted at 10:30am and 2pm
Where: Marietta City Cemetery, 395 Powder Springs St. Marietta, GA 30064
