MARIETTA – The City of Marietta’s Historic Preservation Commission is pleased to celebrate National Historic Preservation Month on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 6:00pm at the Forest Hills Historic District located at the corner of Hunt Street and North Marietta Parkway.
In honor of National Historic Preservation Month, the Marietta Historic Preservation Commission continues its annual celebration with the ribbon cutting and dedication of the new monument sign for the Forest Hills Historic District. The Forest Hills development started in 1928 and was established as a local historic district by the Marietta City Council in 2017. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn about historic preservation activities in Marietta and visit one of Marietta’s special neighborhoods.
