MARIETTA – The City of Marietta is pleased to release a new citizen friendly sanitation app called “Trash Talk” to better aide your trash and recycling needs!

Are you always on the go with no time to keep track of City holidays? If the answer is yes, then you are in luck because the City of Marietta’s Sanitation and IT Departments have put their heads together to create a FREE and easy way for you to be better prepared on the day of your trash service.

But wait, there’s more! When placing your trash out to be collected by our friendly and efficient team members have you ever wondered aloud if something you’ve put in the trash is against the rules? Well, never fear because with the new “Trash Talk” app you can enter in items like “glass” or “paint can” or “motor oil” and not only will the app tell you how and where to dispose these items, it will also give you the directions to that specific facility.

Additionally, the “Trash Talk” app has a push notification system that will inform you if there are any changes in normal service days due to inclement weather. All you have to do is simply download the app and you will receive a notification for any changes in service that is sent out by the City!

Have we sold you on the FREE app yet? If so, please visit your App Store via the iOS system or the Google Play Store via your Android Device and search for “Marietta Trash Talk.” Once you download the app you will be able to enter your address and receive various levels of notifications depending upon your needs. This app is live so go download it NOW!
