MARIETTA – Beginning Friday, November 3, 2017, WorkSource Cobb will host a free weekly workshop series for job seekers. Registration is required. To register call 770-528-4300 or send an email to information@cobbworks.org with your name, address, phone number and the name of the workshop you would like to attend. Workshops will be held at CobbWorks Workforce Development Center located at 463 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30060.

November 3 – NetServing: Using Networking for Job Search, 9 AM – 11:30 AM
Netserving is a more effective than traditional networking and will help you identify connections and build upon standard techniques. The workshop is presented by Jose De La Cruz.
November 10 – Resume Writing, 9 AM – 11:30 AM
This workshop emphasizes the use of accomplishment statements as a more effective approach to writing resumes, offers guidance on how to write accomplishment statements, and teaches other resume writing and formatting techniques. The workshop is presented by Jose De La Cruz.
November 17 – Your Job Searching from Start to Finish, 9 AM – 12:00 PM
When you don’t have a job every day, looking adds up to worry and frustration. This workshop will help you take back control from planning out your search, to resume hints and tips, networking, interviewing to finally saying yes to the job or jobs that will be the positive change you want for you. The workshop is presented by Lisa Martin.
