MARIETTA – The Marietta Fire Department is pleased to announce they have created a FREE special summer contest, for which the winner will receive a FREE ride in a fire engine. And wait there is more, your visit to the Marietta Fire Museum is FREE!
The rules for this contest are very simple, yet fun and engaging so kids make sure your parents are reading this carefully! Mark your calendars to visit the FREE Marietta Fire Museum located at 112 Haynes Street, Marietta, GA 30060 between the hours of 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday from May 22 – July 31, 2017. Once inside the Fire Museum, grab a form near the display case located just inside the entrance and then pay close attention during your tour. At the end of the tour, simply answer correctly the five questions on the form (all of the answers will be revealed during your tour), then complete the information section and turn your form to the contest box located on the same display case.
Everyone who correctly answered all five questions and completed the information section (completely!) will be entered into a drawing for the FREE ride in a Marietta Fire Truck. All entries must be turned in to the drawing box by 5pm on Monday, July 31st. The drawing will be conducted on Tuesday, August 1st and the winner will be notified that same day. The winning entry will be chosen randomly from all correct entries. All five answers must be correct to be entered in the drawing.
Minimum age to be eligible for the fire engine ride is 5 years old, but a parent or guardian must accompany any winner under the age of 18. The winner will meet at the Marietta Fire Department on the scheduled ride day. The Fire Engine ride must be scheduled and completed by August 31, 2017.
