Governor Kemp's Executive Order

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, Governor Brian Kemp issued a new statewide Executive Order which relaxed some restrictions on restaurants, gyms, and child care facilities, and extended the order to shut down bars, clubs and music venues until May 31st. This Executive Order takes precedent over any local actions regulating how businesses operate during the Public Health State of Emergency.

The Executive Order can be found here.

15-Minute Parking

In an effort to promote downtown, small businesses, the Marietta City Council voted unanimously to establish six 15-minute parking spots around the Square for curbside pickup.

Business License Extension

The Marietta City Council also voted to extend the due date for business license renewal payments to May 30th.
