Over 75 residents and professionals attended a porous pavement seminar August 23 at City Hall hosted by Marietta Tree Keepers.
Residents and professionals learned about building porous pavements and how they perform; procedures of porous pavement design, construction and maintenance; and "structural soil," a new technology that helps trees grow to their full mature age and size in dense urban areas. Participants also learned about applications of porous pavements in case studies in Georgia and around the country.
