Residents and businesses inside the city limits of Marietta will soon receive the new edition of Blueprint Marietta in their mailboxes. It is also available for download from the city's Web site.
This edition includes articles about progress being made on Powder Springs Street, a story on how one city department is keeping neighborhoods clean and safe, a master plan for Marietta's park system, a story on a new city Web site that helps newcomers learn about housing opportunities in the city, and various redevelopment projects around Marietta.
"We have a lot to feel good about in this community," city manager Bill Bruton said. "We think this publication will be something people want to read because it tells the story of how the city is changing and how it all relates to a master vision the community helped create."
To ensure Blueprint Marietta meets readers' needs, the city welcomes ideas for stories. Comments and suggestions can be submitted to blueprint@mariettaga.gov.
