City News Release

Hundreds preview city's new housing developments
3/21/2007

More than 300 community members dropped in to see a special showcase of Marietta's citywide redevelopment March 20 at the Center for Family Resources.

City staff showed plans for streetscape improvements -- including new streetlights and brick sidewalks -- multiuse paths, bike trails and special purpose local option sales tax (SPLOST) traffic improvements. Proposed improvements to Roswell Street and Fairground Street were also displayed.
