Security Deposits
Security deposits on residential accounts will be refunded by credit to your account or by check at your request, after you have paid your bill, in full, without delinquencies, prior to our calculation of your next month's bill, for twelve consecutive months. A residential security deposit can be avoided if you have previously had service with Marietta Power & Water within the past year and maintained a good credit rating for at least 12 months. Deposits may be less if you authorize Marietta Power & Water to access your credit information and the report is favorable.
- Owner-occupied residential property: NONE
- Residential and Rental Property (Water & Power): $150.00
- Water only: $75.00
- Commercial: determined on an individual basis
