Marathon Water Heater Program
"The Marathon water heater you sold me is a wonderful appliance! We have plenty of hot water and it was a breeze to install. The water seems much softer than in a metal tank. Don't be afraid to recommend them to your customers. We love it!"

Marietta Power is currently offering a rebate of $250 for switching from a gas water heater to an electric. Even if you are not converting from gas to electric, you can still participate in the Marathon program. Think about the money you could save by switching from your current electric water heater that will leak over time to one of these high efficiency units that is guaranteed to never leak.
We can also handle the entire process for you. Just place one call (770-794-7094) and we will size the water heater for your residence, contact the plumber, and set up an installation date for the change out to occur. You may also qualify for 90 day same as cash or one year financing for the cost of the water heater. As a service to you, Marietta Power will just add a portion of the bill on to your monthly utility bill.
About the Water Heater

- It has a lifetime no leak tank. The tank is non-metallic polymer and is guaranteed to never leak! (not to mention that it can never rust.) Also, because it is not a metallic tank, the Marathon has no anode rods to worry about making your water smell and taste bad.
- It has the highest efficiency rating in the industry. (.94 on the 40 & 50 gallon, .92 on 75 & 85 gallon, .91 on 105 gallon) Remember, the more efficient the unit, the more money you can save!
- Marathon water heaters have the lowest stand-by heat loss of any "tank-type" water heaters made. If you pull the energy to the heating elements, the water in the tank will only lose 5 degrees of temperature every 24 hours. A utility employee in South Dakota relayed the following testimonial to us. A customer who bought a Marathon contacted the marketing director raving about how impressed they were. The customer stated that they went on vacation, turned off the power to the water heater, came back after one week and still had warm water in the tank.
- The insulation is Envirofoam - completely CFC and HCFC free. It is not your typical water heater insulation. Think GREEN!
- If you want a less expensive alternative to "instant hot water" (whole house systems cost upwards of $1500 and only carry a 5 year limited warranty), over size the tank to the next size up. That gives your home more hot water than what you would need, no standby loss, and a gradual recovery rather than the "instant" energy supply and waste that accompanies it.
- It looks great. Its also easy to clean both internally and externally. You would have virtually no worries of a scratched or dented unit.
