Site Development

As development continues in the City of Marietta, it is the City's responsibility to review and approve the site plans to verify the plans meet the requirements of the City Code. Once development begins, the city will perform site inspections to ensure that the construction is following the approved plans and that the site is in compliance with all applicable ordinances and laws.

Site Plan Review

Site plans are submitted to the Engineering Division located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall at 205 Lawrence Street. Plans are reviewed by the Public Works Department, the Planning and Zoning Department, Marietta Board of Lights and Water, Marietta Fire Department, and supplied to the GIS Department and Marietta Power for informational purposes. In the Public Works Department the plans are reviewed by the Civil Engineer and the Erosion Control Inspector and approved by the City Engineer.
