All extra household garbage must be at the curb the next service day following a holiday for pick-up at no charge.
Customers currently in the City of Marietta 68 and 95 gallon roll-cart Pilot Program: Thursday (**) or Friday (***)
Regular fees apply for extra items such as furniture, appliances, etc.
Newspapers will be picked up on your last garbage day of the week. Newspapers are to be placed next to the curb in grocery bags or tied in a bundle. Please do not put newspapers in the green recycle bin. Newspapers are picked up by the city of Marietta. The green bin is for BFI recycling only.
Each garbage can must display an official city decal and not exceed 32 gallons in order to be emptied by the sanitation department. Please call 770-794-5581 or 770-794-5595 to request replacement decals.
