Marietta Homeownership Assistance Program

The City of Marietta’s Housing and Community Development Division in an effort to encourage homeownership is providing principal or loan reduction assistance to those low and moderate income (80% of Median) families buying a home within the city limits of Marietta. The terms of this assistance is in the form of a 10 year forgivable loan. This loan may also be combined with a HUD 203k mortgage which allows a home buyer to combine acquisition and repair/property improvement costs into one loan. Additionally, the city is working in cooperation with Cobb Housing, Inc. to provide first time home buyer education.
