Marietta City Council

The governing body of the city of Marietta is the City Council that establishes local law and policies through enactment of ordinances and resolutions. The Council also determines how the city obtains and spends funds and appoints members to all advisory municipal activities.

Regular City Council meeting dates for 2010

Regular City Council meetings will be held in the Council Chamber located on the first floor of Marietta City Hall, 205 Lawrence Street, on the following dates:

January 13 May 12 September 15
February 10 June 9 October 13
March 10 July 14 November 10
April 14 August 11 December 8

Committee of the Whole meeting dates for 2010

All committees of City Council meet as a whole before the regular City Council meeting. The Committee of the Whole will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the fourth floor conference room of Marietta City Hall, 205 Lawrence Street, on the following dates:

January 11 May 10 September 13
February 8 June 7 October 11
March 8 July 12 November 8
April 12 August 9 December 6
