Citizens' Government Academy

Get an inside look at Marietta government with Citizens' Government Academy

The Marietta Citizens' Government Academy is a free nine-week course designed to familiarize residents and business owners with Marietta government. City staff will provide participants information on government services and tours of city facilities.

The Citizens' Government Academy was started in the Fall of 2000 and has proven to be so successful that we are starting our eighth session. Over 224 people have graduated from the Academy, and many have gone on to serve on various boards and commissions.
