MISSION STATEMENT

The principal mission of the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation is to strengthen the economic and residential base of the City by revitalizing neighborhoods, commercial areas and other distressed properties. The role of the MRC is to make strategic real estate investments in blighted areas, assemble properties for redevelopment where needed, and partner with the private sector to invest in our community.

Meeting Park

Plans for the 11-acre site on Roswell at Wadell Street include 78,000 square feet of retail and office space and 159 residential condominiums, 131 townhomes and 9 single-family. The Atlanta based development company, Winter Properties, LLC, purchased the former public housing site in fall 2005.

Location

Located in the Roswell Street Renaissance District within walking distance of Downtown Marietta, Meeting Park is approximately 0.3 miles from the Marietta Square and 0.9 miles from the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center and City Club golf course.

Project Details

Condominiums range from 900 to 2,200 square feet and townhomes range from 1,000 to more than 2,900 square feet. Homes are starting from $200,000 to $600,000.

Project Status

Winter Properties completed engineering and site development work in 2007. Townhomes are currently under construction. Condominiums and retail space will be under construction in early 2008.
