REGGIE A. TAYLOR, MS Executive Director
Reggie Taylor joined the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation in March 2008. As Executive Director, Reggie is responsible for the management and operations of the corporation as well as administration of the city of Marietta’s Tax Allocation Districts, the Marietta Fund for Neighborhood and Community Revitalization and the quasi organizational Marietta-Cobb New Markets Fund, Inc.
Reggie is the main point of contact for Developers seeking assistance in pursuing projects within designated redevelopment areas. Through utilization of TADs, the Fund and New Market Tax Credits, Reggie seeks to secure new investments in distressed and underutilized areas of the City.
He holds a Master's of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI. He earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a minor in Public Administration from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.
Professionally he has over ten years of urban planning, community and economic development as well as affordable housing experience. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Director of the MRC he served as a Public Service Administrator with the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity serving the Northern Stateline Region. Before joining, the state of Illinois he served as the Community Development Director for the City of Freeport where he managed several community and economic development projects as well as state and federal Brown Fields grants.
He is a past two-term member of the Illinois Winnebago County Board serving the citizens of District 12 from 2000 to 2004. While on the County Board, he served as Chairman of the Legislative Committee and a member of the Public Safety and Economic Development Committees. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
TERESA R. SABREE Redevelopment Project Manager
Teresa Sabree joined the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation as Redevelopment Project Manager in August 2004. Sabree is a main point of contact for individuals seeking information on real property in redevelopment areas. Teresa assists with all aspects of management and operation of the corporation and provides real estate and demographic research for various city departments, partner organizations, Developers and clients.
As Redevelopment Project Manager, Sabree has played a primary role in the creation of Tax Allocation Districts, authoring and implementation of Redevelopment Plans, assessing feasibility of proposed development projects, marketing of redevelopment areas and production of external communications and organizational reports.
Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Policy Studies with a specialization in Planning and Economic Development from Georgia State University. Teresa is a member of the Georgia and American Planning Associations, The Urban Land Institute and the Council of Development Finance Agencies and has continued her professional development through these organizations as well as the International Economic Development Council and National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.

The Marietta Redevelopment Corporation seeks to build partnerships with a wide variety of public, for profit and nonprofit agencies that will assist in the advancement of the MRC’s mission and the overall revitalization of the City of Marietta. From coordination with local housing organizations to membership in international Economic Development organizations these relationships give the MRC opportunities for local partnerships and access to information on the latest tools in Economic Development research, publications, training and networking opportunities.
