The Marietta-Cobb New Markets Fund, Inc. was established in 2007 through a
partnership between the City of Marietta, Cobb County, the Marietta housing
Authority and the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation. The entity was
incorporated in March 2008 and has applied to the Internal Revenue Service for
501c3 nonprofit status. Marietta Cobb New markets Fund, Inc. seeks to provide
assistance to a wide range of private business enterprises in Qualifying
Low-Income Communities with funds secured through NMTC investments.
PROJECTS The focus of Marietta-Cobb New Markets Fund, Inc. NMTC program is the financing of commercial redevelopment projects with a job creation component, while it will consider sound projects of all types in a variety of economic sectors. The organizations service area includes all qualified areas within the City of Marietta and Cobb County.

He has served as a Public Service Administrator with the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity serving the Northern Stateline Region, the Community Development Director for the City of Freeport.
