Energy Grant Opportunities

The City's plans for the EECBG Grant funds include installation of remote automated HVAC controls in Fire/Police Station 51. This will allow for remote operation of the HVAC system, resulting in more efficient operation, less travel time for building management personnel, and savings in energy consumption and gasoline used. This will also result in reduced down time for HVAC equipment and allow for a more effective use of staff time. As with the City Hall HVAC upgrades on page 1, the City has obtained evaluation information from Johnson Controls regarding the appropriate equipment upgrades to install for this project activity. Work to be completed under this activity will be bid and awarded per the City's established procurement system.
