The City of Marietta, Georgia established Marietta Development Authority in 1989 to develop and promote trade, commerce, industry, and employment opportunities for the local community.

The Marietta Development Authority has broad powers to accomplish its purpose. Over its history, the most frequently used power of the Authority is the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable industrial development bonds. Read More
