Student internship program
The Marietta Police Department offers internships to college students on an ongoing basis. The goal is to provide hands-on educational experiences for students interested in a career in law enforcement to gain valuable insight into career possibilities while pursuing academic goals. Benefits of an intership include college credit for work experience and training and the satisfaction in giving back to the community. Interns help the department carry out vital support functions and develop closer links to the community.
