Get Involved
The Marietta Police Department encourages citizens to get as involved in the community as they can. We offer several programs that make this possible: a citizens academy, an Explorers program, crime-free housing, a Police Athletic League (PAL) program, a gang resistance education and training (GREAT) program, town hall meetings, National Night Out, MSTAR program, internships and a ride-along program. Our goal is to establish strong relationships between the police department and community that benefit both.. The police department will be better equipped to serve the community, and, as a result, the community will become a safer environment in which to live.
