The Dixie Highway Yard Sale
The Museum is once again pleased to be a part of the Dixie Highway Yard Sale. This event goes from Marietta all the way to the Georgia-Tennessee State Line. The three day event includes items that have been given specifically for sale and the proceeds will benefit the Marietta Museum of History. We have a great selection of furniture, militaria, books, housewares and more just waiting for you. The Museum also has great ideas for how to reuse some of the items in unconventional ways!
The sale will begin on Friday, June 6th at 10am and will continue through the First Friday Art Walk on the Square, which ends at 9pm. Also joining us on Friday will be the Peach State Depression Glass Club who will be selling glassware given especially for this event. The Museum’s yard sale will continue on Saturday, June 7th from 10am and go until 4pm. Everything that did not sell on Friday or Saturday will be marked down by 50% on Sunday with operating hours from Noon until 4pm.
The Dixie Highway Yard Sale is a FREE event and will be held in the 1st Floor Virginia Tumlin Community Room. To tour the Museum, visitors must pay an admission fee of $7 for Adults, $5 for Seniors (55 and older) and Students, Children 5 and under and Museum Members are Free.
