The City of Marietta will be administering the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for the 16th straight year starting on June 2, 2014.
The SFSP, a Federal Program funded by the US Department of Agriculture, which seeks to ensure that lower income children receive nutritious meals during summer vacation when they do not have access to school served meals.
Marietta's participation in the SFSP will help service 19 sites from June 2, 2014, to July 25, 2014. In accordance with USDA and the State's Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) requirements, the attached list of sites gives operating dates, meal types, meal service times and contacts. The City expects to serve at least 1,000 children daily by providing meals consisting of a lunch and afternoon snack at most sites.
