Board of Lights and Water vacancy
The Marietta City Council is seeking résumés and letters of interest from individuals interested in serving on the Board of Lights and Water to fill one vacancy. City Council will make the appointment to fill the vacancy following personal interviews. Candidates for interviews will be selected based on a strong business background, their familiarity with utility systems, and their financial and operations experience.
Applicants must meet one of the qualifications below
- Be a non-resident of city of Marietta who lives in Cobb County within the service district outside the city and who has received service (electric, power, water and/or sewer) from the board for at least one-and-one-half years
- Be a Cobb County resident who is a business owner or employee of a business that has received service within the service (electric, power, water and/or sewer) district outside the city of Marietta and from the board for at least one-and-one-half years
