The public is invited to learn about programs that help low and moderate-income families buy a house at the 12th annual Homeownership Forum Thursday, April 18.
Representatives from the city's Community Development Division, Marietta Housing Authority, Cobb County Neighborhood Stabilization Program and Cobb County Community Development Block Grant program will discuss their programs. They will also tell you if you are eligible, what you have to do to qualify for assistance and provide information about homes for sale in some of the programs at the meeting.
"This forum has been extremely valuable in the past providing information and helping families buy their first home," city of Marietta Housing and Community Development manager Mitch Bland said.
