Media vehicles may park free on the top level of the City Hall parking deck on Lawrence Street. Broadcast vehicles not able to access the parking deck because of their size may park free temporarily in a loading zone on Lawrence Street in front of City Hall if those spaces are not needed for city vehicles. Broadcast crews may videotape or broadcast live from City Hall provided vehicles and equipment do not interfere with traffic or city activities.
City Council Meetings
An audio mult-box is available for broadcast reporters covering meetings in the chamber of City Hall. It is located along the windows in the rear center of the chamber. Meeting videos stream live and are archived on the city's website.
Open records requests
Written open records requests should be directed to the City Clerk's office.
Use of the city's logo, seal and police and fire badges and emblems is restricted. Requests for use may be made by contacting the city's Public Information Office, 770-794-5509.
All commercial, non-news videotaping or filming must be approved in advance by the city's Parks, Recreation and Facilities department.
