Administrative Assistant III Kim Blair
In 2012, Kim Blair began her career with the Marietta Fire Department working in the Fire Marshal’s office as an Administrative Assistant I. In March of 2014, she transferred to the Fire Chief’s office where she supports the work of both the Fire and Deputy Fire Chiefs. As an Administrative Assistant III, her responsibilities include purchasing, budgeting, invoices, and research. While her tenure has been relatively short, her contributions are significant; she has used her talents on numerous collaborative projects including the Home Inspection Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Kim completed an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Young Harris College and went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies from Kennesaw State University. She plans to begin a Graduate Degree in Human Resources in November 2014.
