Information Technology
The Information Technology department is organized into two divisions: Network Services and Systems Applications.
The Network Services division is responsible for the voice and data infrastructure and the help desk function. The voice and data infrastructure include data servers, cellular telephones, desktop phones and the help desk.
The Systems Applications division is responsible for all enterprise-wide business applications, development, Web services and geographic information systems. These systems run on IBM and Intel platforms.
The department has garnered national recognition and awards from the FBI, Technology Authority of Georgia and ESRI.
