Located within walking distance to the historic Marietta Square, Meeting Park has been planned and developed as a mixed-use village of commercial and residential uses. The site was recently purchased by Walton Communities for redevelopment.

The Marietta Housing Authority sold the site for redevelopment to a private developer after demolishing aged public housing. The original development team completed planning and site development work as well as construction of 15 townhomes. Current economic conditions will determine future uses on the site, which is located in the Roswell Street renaissance district.
